OCEAN INNOVATION CENTER (OIC) in partnership with MICROSOFT since February 2018, is the very first technopole for the promotion of the digital economy and technological innovation in Central Africa.
Inaugurated on July 11, 2017 by the former Minister of MINEPAT, H.E. Louis Paul MOTAZE, accompanied by four
other ministers including the current MINPOSTEL, H.E Libon Li LIKENG. OIC, was set up by Mr. Jacques BONJAWO, entrepreneur in the digital sector, co-founder of the African Virtual University and former senior executive at Microsoft executive at the Microsoft headquarters (USA).
OCEAN INNOVATION CENTER as an incubation and acceleration center for start-ups in Central Africa, aims to support young people in their innovation and technological transformation projects. This has resulted in several activities such as: incubation of start-ups, professional and skills training, expertise and advice, rental of co-working space and private spaces

OCEAN INNOVATION CENTER, as an incubation and acceleration center for start-ups in Central Africa, has set itself the goal of supporting young people in their innovation and technological transformation projects. Incubation being at the center of our missions, we have so far been able to incubate nearly 17 start-ups, several of which are still on their way.
Who are the potential targets?
Ocean Innovation Center (OIC) serves as an ideal platform in the field of the digital economy for research, innovation, service development, distribution and training. Through this platform, ICT professionals or enthusiasts, researchers, students, developers and suppliers of related products and services will have at their disposal all the means, tools and infrastructures of advanced technologies for their flourishing.
