Graphic Design



The primary objective of the training is to give practical hands-on skills to learners to effectively carry out graphic design and production duties at corporate and formal institutions while taking into consideration the nature of the task and the demands of the current job market. It aims at:

  • making one efficient at the job as concerns graphic design and production
  • ensuring smooth integration into the professional life
  • improve professional behavior, soft skill and professional growth in the industry

  1. Define design choices and aesthetics
    1. Represent professional perspectives by leveraging visual elements
    2. Using basic principles of Gestalt and composition in a design
    3. Produce materials based on the principles of color synthesis and contrast
    4. Establish a communication plan as well as a graphic chart
    5. Plan tasks and evaluate budgets
    6. Present and defend propositions
  2. Develop technical reproductions
    1. Develop a digital image
    2. Process images
    3. Adjust texts and images
    4. Perform some cleaning up
    5. Print forms or realizations
    6. Produce a technical document
  3. Develop typography and formatting tasks
    1. Collect all requirements for a request
    2. Write down some documentation and correct them
    3. Figuring out the right design choices
    4. Produce a table for the formatting
    5. Perform formatting by respecting the rules of formatting
    6. Prepare the technical document for printing
  4. Perform digital illustrations
    1. Draw a person
    2. Properly scan an image
    3. Create illustrations
    4. Perform screen captures
    5. Properly perform image capture
  5. Implement design elements for web and multimedia content
    1. Research and collect necessary information
    2. Archive and process information
    3. Implement designs respecting the graphic chart
    4. Verify all operational aspects and negotiate  purchase of both technical and functional elements
    5. Perform Updates

  • In order to be registered for this course, the following documents and items are required:
    • Complete and submit registration form at one of our campuses
    • Photocopy of your national ID Card
    • Most recent CV
    • Payment of 15,000 FCFA registration fee payable in cash

    You will be given a receipt upon registration


4 Hours per Day, 3 days per week.

Duration : 3 months / 9months + 2 months of internship
